Mexican Crazy Lace Agate, raw edge, focal pendant bead #3646 (Discounted Price)

$15.00

DISCOUNTED: due to the drilled hole, being very close to the edge of the stone, making it unfavorably fragile at that point and potentially susceptible to breaking at the linkage point. This stone is not ideal as a stand alone pendant for this reason and is better suited as a wire wrapped piece, or with a permanently affixed bead cap for extra stability and strength.

40mm in length, and 20mm in width at its widest point, this stone is a freeform triangle shape.

This piece is  a very wearable size for any level of comfort and style. It isn't too big and it isn't too heavy, but still makes a statement.

Beautifully hand cut and polished on both sides, it boasts a stunning, smooth, freeform edge and carefully preserved, characteristic "Crazy Lace" natural patterning throughout the stone.

With beautiful, tight bands throughout, in hues from red, to black and cream on both sides,  this stone tells a detailed story of the passing of time, and an ever changing world.

The details on this stone are so fine, it is difficult to accurately capture it's beauty in a photo... The botryoidal nodules are each only a few mm in diameter, and the stone, as a whole - somewhat resembles the markings on an old world map or fantasy version of Pangea.
