Mexican Crazy Lace Agate, raw edge, focal pendant bead #3644

$70.00

50mm in length, and 25mm in width at its widest point. This especially unique piece is half cut in an "Anvil" shape, with three flat, smooth edges, and one free-form edge, chipped and polished in the style of an ancient, stone axe blade, without a sharp edge. This design aspect aids in the representation of the incredibly fine bands and nodules layered on that edge of the stone.

This piece is  a very wearable size for any level of comfort and style. It isn't too big and it isn't too heavy, but still makes a statement.

Beautifully hand cut and polished on both sides, it boasts a stunning, smooth, freeform edge and carefully preserved, characteristic "Crazy Lace" natural patterning throughout the stone.

With beautiful, tight bands throughout, in hues from red, to black and cream on both sides,  this stone tells a detailed story of the passing of time, and an ever changing world. When held in the shifting light, this stone also has translucent bands that circle the center of the stone.

The shape of this stone gives a true "old-world artifact" feel and aesthetic in any piece of jewelry or talisman.
